Keeping our guests safe during COVID-19

We’re so excited to be re-opening! We can’t wait to welcome you back to Hidden.

Our top priority is still to ensure that our customers have a wonderful experience in a safe environment. The measures we have put in place are there for your safety and those around you.

Finally, we have been very busy over the last few months, working hard to ensure we can accommodate customers who wish to dine outside during the summer months. We have installed our external seating area and outdoor heating and have also been successful in expanding our external area with our pavement license.

What we’re doing and what we ask of you

Here’s what we’ve put in place in the restaurant and for our team.

  • All our staff are wearing face masks and we ask that all guests wear them as well until they’re seated at their table. We must also ask you to wear a mask if you leave your table to visit the restroom or for any other reason.
  • In line with Government advice, we are now taking contact details from all guests entering the restaurant for track and trace purposes.
  • We’ve carried out a full risk assessment.
  • All employees’ temperatures are checked each day upon arrival, and have been recorded for 7 days prior to coming back to work. They also take COVID-19 lateral flow tests twice a week.
  • Arranged seating in line with Government social distancing rules.
  • A professional deep clean every day.
  • All tables and chairs are fully cleaned after use.
  • All menus and condiments are cleaned prior to use.
  • We have a dedicated employee committed to ensuring all health and safety is to the highest standard.

What our guests can do to help

  • We’ll have someone to greet you as you arrive and look after you while you wait if there is any queuing, which is inevitable of course and your patience is appreciated.
  • We kindly ask you to amend your reservation if you are showing any symptoms. We can re-book you for a future date at this point, so you have something to look forward to following appropriate period of self-isolation.
  • Your temperature will be checked on arrival.
  • Please observe social distancing at all times.
  • Menus will be disinfected but you can also view the menu online or via our app with your smartphone.
  • Hand sanitisers are available as you enter the building, on your table and in the restrooms.
  • It is the responsibility of guests to ensure they are adhering to the Government guidelines.
